Can Speak Therapy, located in Metuchen, N.J., is a pediatric speech therapy practice serving children and teens. Our mission is to create a warm and playful environment for children as they practice new speech, language, and listening skills!
Here at Can Speak, we treat parents as an integral part of the therapy team. Not only will you witness your child's progress firsthand, but you will also receive the resources, guidance, and support you need to continue their growth journey at home.

Speech Therapy
Is your child difficult to understand? We will help them improve their speech sounds and speak clearly during structured activities that feel like play!

Our language therapy sessions will help your child understand words and express themselves during interactive games and exercises.
Hearing Impairment
Does your child have cochlear implants or hearing aids? We will build on their spoken language skills using techniques from Auditory Verbal Therapy (AVT).

Welcome to Can Speak Therapy. I am Amber Willis, a speech therapist with over 20 years of experience working with children in schools and clinical settings. I specialize in the areas of speech sound disorders, language delays and disorders, and hearing impairment with advanced training in Auditory Verbal Therapy, PECS, and PROMPT. In my practice, I strive to create a fun, welcoming, and safe space for children to try new things and reach their goals— all while having fun!
As a pediatric speech therapist, I work to create a meaningful connection with every client by learning about who they are so I can create therapy sessions tailored to their interests. I also love to involve parents in the therapy process, offering support and resources every step of the way.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling, going to the gym, spending time with my daughter and friends, taking long walks, and cheering on my favorite sports teams.

Can Speak Therapy serves children in Middlesex, Union, and Somerset Counties. We’ll meet you wherever it’s most convenient for you— at our Metuchen clinic, in the local community, or online across New Jersey.
Step One
Reach out for a consultation over the phone or in-person. We will discuss your child's needs, listen to your family’s goals, and share about our services.
Step Two
We will complete an evaluation to gain more information about your child's speech and language abilities, strengths, and areas of need.
Step Three
The fun begins! We will address your child’s goals during play-based activities. Progress will be monitored each session to ensure that they are growing!
